Gadus S2 V220 2 (NLGI 2 grade) from SHELL is a high performance grease for the lubrication of bearings subjected to harsh conditions. Its based on high viscosity index mineral oil and a mixed lithium/calcium soap thickener and contains extreme-pressure, anti-oxidation, anti-wear, anti-corrosion and adhesion additives. It also contains solids to provide resistance to shock loading.
It is is a multi-purpose extreme pressure grease. Lithium, mineral EP grade. Resistant to water wash out. Gadus S2 V220 2 grease contains special extreme pressure additives which enable them to withstand heavy and shock loads without failure of lubricant film.
Applications include heavy duty bearings served by centralised dispensing systems. it is an extreme pressure gear grease for applications at normal ambient temperatures. Can be used on heavy duty plain and roller bearings operating under harsh conditions including shock loading in wet environments. Also on low temperature grease applications.
