Description
Gulf Antifoam Additive is a highly active antifoam emulsion containing dimethyl polysiloxane. Gulf Cascade Antifoam Additive is normally used as supplied as a sump side additive to keep foaming metalworking fluids under control. Very little is required to provide a noticeable improvement (0.0075%) (35mls per 100 gallons / 450 litres of emulsion). Generally speaking, Antifoam Additive can be added at the rate of 5 litre bottle capful at a time for the desired effect. Where very small quantities are to be added, pre-dilution with soft or distilled cold water is recommended.
