HyperDrive 15W/40 E9 SN/CJ-4 is a top-tier mixed-fleet multi-grade engine oil suitable for use in the latest heavy duty diesel and petrol engines. 15W/40 E9 SN/CJ-4 meets the latest ACEA and API performance
levels and is formulated for use in Euro V, Euro VI technology vehicles where low SAPS levels are specified.

Low SAPS technology. If you use AdBlue, you will also need to use Low SAPS Engine Oil in your vehicle. Low SAPS Oil is simply oil that has low levels of Sulphated Ash, Phosphorous, and Sulphur.
It is a requirement in any diesel vehicle fitted with a DPF (diesel particulate filter) to use one of the ‘low SAPS’ engine oils.
ACEA C ratings:
1. C1 Low SAPS (0.5% ash) fuel efficient.
2. C2 Mid SAPS (0.8% ash) fuel efficient, better suited to higher performance engines.
3. C3 Mid SAPS (0.8% ash) less fuel efficient, even more in favour of performance.
You need to use Low SAPS oil because Sulphated Ash, Phosphorous, and Sulphur are all substances that can build-up and block your vehicle’s DPF. This is why it is important to have an oil that is low in these substances, to avoid blockages.
